BBC Children in Need funds summer holiday club

BBC Children in Need recently funded us to run youth clubs during the school holidays, providing the opportunity for young people with a learning disability to take part in community activities.

Over 200 people attend 9th annual Fun Day

On Thursday 4th August, we held our 9th annual Fun Day at West Faversham Community Centre. This is a free event promoting sports activities to adults and children with a learning disability.
Drama group perform 5th Annual Variety Show

In June, our Thanet drama group performed their 5th annual Variety Show to members of the public, including the Deputy Mayor of Margate, Cllr Rosamund Dixon.
Local man walks 52 miles to raise funds for East Kent Mencap

In May, a local man walked part of the Pennine Way in an effort to raise funds for East Kent Mencap. Swale resident, Andrew Brightman-Stokes, walked the 52 miles in three days.
