We support individuals with a learning disability in East Kent to tell us what is important to them, so they can achieve what they want out of life, through choice, support, and opportunity.

We take a person-centred approach and, when required, advocate for people with a learning disability to be valued, treated equally, listened to, and included. Everything we do is led by the people who use our services.

What East Kent Mencap means to you

East Kent Mencap supports people with a learning disability to achieve their potential
  • It’s been lovely working with IJ’s different support staff. The team seems to work incredibly well together and communication between them is fantastic. Everyone seems to be up-to-date on what IJ’s been practicing and implementing the skills at home. It’s a wonderful team you have for IJ.
