We know what an important part they play in the community and we hope the year-long partnership has helped remind our customers of the valuable service they provide in East Kent. Thanks to the partnership, we’ll certainly now be looking into ways we can support them in the future’

Jane Brooke, Fundraising Manager at East Kent Mencap said, ‘the partnership with Sainsburys came at just the right time for us as we are launching more services in Canterbury for people with learning disabilities.  Their support helped us to fund the start up costs for our cooking and sensory projects at the Umbrella Centre and the ongoing costs of our monthly social club.  We are very grateful to the staff and customers who so generously supported us during the year.’
