We know how important our clubs, dances and events are to our members and wanted to keep you up to date.
In the current situation, to protect everyone’s health, we cannot bring large groups of people back together because this could spread the virus.
For this reason we will only hold virtual events this year for larger groups of people
We will continue to follow the Government advice and how we can return these popular events safely.
East Kent Mencap is extremely proud of how many people we have supported online and are developing even more opportunities.
This decision does not affect our plans to continue supporting people in their homes or the community which have carried on since the outbreak.
We have been able to keep some day services running all the way through the crisis and are now welcoming back more people in small groups. We look forward to seeing more of you in the next few months.
