Here at East Kent Mencap, we enjoyed a variety of Halloween activities and events. Everyone got involved, from members and their families and friends to EKM staff.
There were a host of fun Halloween preparation activities, parties, and discos including:
Thanet Community Activity Hub pumpkin decorating and banner making
GOLD members made amazing Halloween masks, watched a scary movie, and enjoyed a Halloween party
Margate and Thanet Community Activity Hubs put on a Halloween Fun Day with a fancy dress catwalk, dancing, ping pong games, raffle, and lots of delicious treats (not tricks!)
Swale Halloween Disco at Sheerness Co-op Sports & Social Club, with dancing, fancy dress, and Halloween raffle
And finally, a virtual Halloween disco with 25 guests. DJ Tris played a great set, and there was a raffle and best costume competition.
