Our Complex Needs Support Workers offer bespoke support for children, young people and adults with a range of complex needs at home and in the community. These needs include complex health needs, communication issues and behaviours that challenge.
All of our services are person-centred, supporting people to develop their lives in whatever ways they choose. You will be expected to enable, engage, and provide positive outcomes for the well-being of everyone you support.
We are looking for a passionate support worker to provide care and/or support to people with learning disabilities to develop life skills and become as independent as possible within their own homes.
Working within this specialist service, you must be able to demonstrate an adaptable and consistent approach to people with learning disabilities, their families, your colleagues and other professionals.
An NVQ3 or equivalent is desirable though we are happy to receive applications from candidates with a passion for the sector.
This role will involve occasional sleep-ins and weekend and evening shifts. We welcome applications from flexible candidates with good availability. A driving licence and the use of your own vehicle is preferable.
We offer a full induction and training programme, salary progression, a generous holiday allowance, increasing with length of service, and sickness allowance as well as a pension scheme and mileage reimbursement scheme (40p per mile).
