Job Title: Marketing and Communications Coordinator
Salary/Rate: Salary £24,839- £27, 398/annum Dependent on Experience, 33 days holiday per year
Responsible to: Fundraising Manager
Full time: 37 hours per week
Location: Ramsgate, Kent. Flexible working from home considered.
East Kent Mencap’s mission is to enable and empower adults and children with a learning disability in East Kent to achieve the things they want out of life by providing choice, support and opportunities. We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator, with at least two years’ experience, to join our successful charity at an exciting time of development and growth. The ideal candidate will be a confident, creative and enthusiastic individual with the ability to develop and drive forward all areas of our communications, promoting the exceptional work of East Kent Mencap and the successes of our members, as well as supporting our fundraising activities. They will be a self-starter who can work across a range of marketing and communications functions and collaborate well with a range of people, from our members and staff to the public, partners and stakeholders. Additionally, they will have a proven ability to work in a diligent, professional and caring way. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a range of marketing disciplines, with scope to develop professionally in a fast-paced environment where ideas and initiative are appreciated.
The role requires someone with good written, verbal and social media skills, who enjoys variety and communicating with lots of different people, has a flexible approach and would like to work for a social care charity.
