Salary/Rate: £7.63-8.50/hour £55/night for sleep-ins

We are currently seeking a full time support worker to join our rapidly expanding Supporting Independence Service team in Herne Bay.
Working to the guidelines of Valuing People Now, you will offer a personalised service to four adults with learning disabilities within our supported living property in Herne Bay, as well as community-based individuals in the surrounding areas. You will utilise service users’ personal support plans to enable them to develop life skills such as shopping, cooking, and budgeting, which will allow them to become as independent as possible at home and in the community.
You will work within a team to provide cover 7 days a week, therefore, it is essential that you have the flexibility to work evenings and weekends and bank holidays and also cover sleep-ins when required. An element of personal care may also be expected in this role.
Due to the nature of this role, an NVQ2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and previous experience in a similar role are desirable.
