Salary/Rate: £7.63 – £8.50/hour with sleep ins paid at £55 per night

East Kent Mencap is looking to recruit two support workers (full time and part time contracts available) to join our rapidly expanding Supporting Independence Service team in Swale.
We support people with a learning disability in our 4 bedded supported living property in Halfway as well as individuals based in the surrounding community. You will work shifts on a flexible rota pattern and this will include evenings, weekend, bank holidays (enhanced pay available) and sleep-in’s (payable at £55 per night).
Our clients will be supported with their daily living skills such as accessing the community, shopping, cooking, and budgeting, this will be achieved by following person centered plans and the individual’s support plan.
Ideally you will have an NVQ 2 or a diploma in health and social care as well as experience of working with people with a learning disability.
