Salary/Rate: £8.21 – £8.84/hour. Sleep-ins paid at £70.47 per night

We have an exciting full-time opportunity available for a support worker to provide care and/or support people with Learning Disabilities to develop life skills and become as independent as possible within their own homes.
We support people with a learning disability in our 4 bedded supported living property in Halfway in Sheerness as well as individuals based in the surrounding community.
Our clients will be supported with their daily living skills such as accessing the community, shopping, cooking, and budgeting. This will be achieved by following person-centred plans and the individual’s support plan.
In addition we also run a day service which offers activities to people with learning disabilities and successful candidates will work in both areas of support.
Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will preferably hold an NVQ 2 in health and social care (or be willing to undertake one) and have experience in this field. You will be working within a team to provide 24 hour cover, 7 days a week. Therefore you may be required to work evenings and weekends and also cover sleep-ins (paid at £70.47 per night).
