In April 2016, staff supported members from the Canterbury area to go on a weeks holiday to Mallorca.
After holidaying in the UK last year, Holly, Jez, Gary, Alison, Marianne and Muriel told staff that they would like to go abroad for their next holiday. Together, they discussed various locations, before deciding on Mallorca.
The group stayed in a villa in the resort of Cala D’or, alongside two members of staff. Days were spent by the pool or on the beach, and evenings in restaurants and cocktail bars. The group also visited a number of tourist attractions, including a local sea life centre and the capital, Palma.
“Going abroad together was so much fun; I can’t wait for next year’s holiday,” commented Holly.
Canterbury Manager, Della Heaton, said: “We hope this will be first of many holidays abroad for our members.”
