Everyone has been feeling the love and getting involved with an array of activities and events to celebrate Valentine’s Day, from disco dancing to crafty card making.
Special Valentine’s Day Breakfast Clubs were hosted at Swale and Herne Bay Hubs, with a delicious love-themed menu.
DJ Tris played a great love playlist at the virtual Valentine Disco, which was enjoyed by 23 guests. Next up is the Ashford Valentine Disco on 24 February.
All the Hubs were busy with Valentine’s crafty activities. Members made beautiful button hearts, hanging photo hearts, paper quill cards, and love pebble art.
Support Worker, Amanda, said: “Sharon, Loretta, Adam and Luke created pebble art as a gift for their special someone. They chose their design on the internet and interpreted it onto card with the pebbles. The pebbles represent people or animals in their lives that they love. The frames are also upcycled and painted.”
There was also a Valentine’s Afternoon Tea at Ramsgate Hub and members enjoyed eating the Valentine biscuits that were made during the cooking session earlier that day.
GOLD (Getting on with Learning Difficulties) hosted a lovely Valentine’s Tea.
Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone!
