Salary/Rate: £8.21 – £9.28/hour. Sleep-ins paid at £70.47 per night

A support worker is required for 21 hours per week to provide care and/or support people with Learning Disabilities to develop life skills and become as independent as possible within their own homes. This role will involve some elements of travel within the community of Thanet, Kent. Therefore we particularly welcome applications from drivers who can use their own vehicle (mileage reimbursement policy applies).
You will work shifts on a flexible rota pattern and this will include evenings, weekend, bank holidays (enhanced pay available) and occasional sleep-in’s (payable at £70.47 per night).
Ideally you will already hold an NVQ 2 or a diploma in health and social care but if not you will be supported by East Kent Mencap to gain this qualification.
