Our Team Vision

Our vision is a world where people with a learning disability are valued equally, listened to, and included.

We believe that East Kent Mencap is an excellent place to work. We have an inclusive culture where all staff members are treated equally and with respect at all times. We pay the same wages irrespective of sex and age. We believe that if you do the same role, you get paid the same salary. Our pension contribution starts from the moment you are eligible, we do not exercise our right to have a staging period. Any out-of-pocket expenses and mileage are reimbursed in line with our policies (currently 40p per mile) and our sleep-in allowance is competitive for our region.
