Activities
There is a wide variety of activities on offer, including:
- Stitch and sew
- Health and wellbeing activities
- Arts and crafts
- Cooking and baking
- Photography
- Computer skills
- Jewellery making
- Reading and writing
- Access to a sensory room
We also support people to enjoy activities in their local community, including trips to the cinema, swimming, bowling, horse riding, gym sessions and local attractions.
Throughout the year, we offer seasonal activities, nature walks and health walks, as well as social events such as BBQs, tea parties, Halloween celebrations and Christmas dinners.
Community connections
We work closely with local organisations and community partners to create opportunities for the people we support.

Staff ratio
We offer small group activities and one-to-one support, allowing you to take part in activities of your choosing.

Our Herne Bay hub is located on Canterbury Road in Herne Bay. There is an on-site car park, free parking in nearby residential streets and multiple bus stops close by. Herne Bay railway station is an 18-minute walk away and the beach is just a 3-minute walk from the hub.

Opening times
The hub is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 6pm.
Sessions are two hours long, with flexibility around how many sessions you would like to attend. We encourage anyone interested in joining to book a visit and discuss their individual requirements.
Prices
Prices vary according to individual needs. Please contact us for pricing information.
Your local authority can pay us directly, or you can pay for your support using your own funds or support from family members.
Free taster sessions are available for newcomers.
Youth Club
Our Youth Club is for young people aged 11 to 18 and takes place every other Saturday from 10am to 1pm.
How to join
To join our Herne Bay hub or youth club, simply give us a call or email. You can also ask your Social Care Team to refer you, or a family member can contact us on your behalf.
