This Christmas, we're raising £1,000 through our Christmas appeal to help create more opportunities for our members throughout the year.
We support people with a learning disability to build confidence, develop skills, make friends and enjoy new experiences. Your donation could help fund new activities, sessions and equipment for our hubs, as well as special experiences, festive celebrations and events that bring people together.
Whether you make a donation or organise a Christmas fundraiser, every contribution will help us reach our target.

Our main Christmas fundraising campaign is Bake a Difference, and we'd love you to get involved!
We're inviting workplaces, schools, community groups, friends and families to come together, have some festive fun and raise money for East Kent Mencap.
You could organise a Christmas bake sale at work, challenge colleagues to a festive bake-off, get your school involved or host a seasonal fundraiser with friends and your local community.
You don't need to be an expert baker or organise a big event. It's about bringing people together and raising money to support people with a learning disability across East Kent.
To make getting started easier, we've created a Bake a Difference fundraising kit, packed with recipes, fundraising ideas and ready-to-use materials.
Baking isn't the only way to support our Christmas appeal. There are plenty of other ways to raise money, whether you're fundraising at work, with friends, at school or as part of a local group.

Christmas jumper day
Invite everyone to wear their favourite festive jumper in return for a donation.
Christmas raffle
Ask local businesses or friends to donate prizes for a raffle.
Festive quiz
Bring people together for a Christmas-themed quiz and charge a small entry fee.
Workplace sweepstake
Organise a festive competition and invite colleagues to take part for a donation.
