East Kent Mencap is coming to Folkestone!
Our Folkestone hub will be based inside Age UK Folkestone (65 Shaftesbury Avenue, CT19 4NS). The hub will provide a safe, inclusive space where people with a learning disability can develop skills, take part in activities, meet new friends and connect with the local community.
Free Nature & Wellbeing Sessions Launching June 2026
We are launching a series of free nature wellbeing sessions for adults with a learning disability in Folkestone in June 2026.
What the Folkestone hub will offer
At the Folkestone Hub, we plan to support people to:
- Take part in social activities and groups
- Access skills development and learning opportunities
- Enjoy creative and wellbeing sessions
- Have a safe, inclusive space to meet others
- Receive support to be active in the local community
Our aim is to create a hub built around choice, support and opportunity.
