Referrals now open for our Folkestone hub
East Kent Mencap is now accepting referrals for its Folkestone hub.
Based at Age UK Folkestone, the hub provides opportunities for people with a learning disability to make friends, learn new skills, take part in activities and connect with their local community.
We welcome referrals from people with a learning disability, family members, carers, support workers, social workers and other professionals.

What the Folkestone hub offers

Free health and nature sessions
We are currently running a series of free nature and wellbeing sessions for adults with a learning disability in Folkestone.
These sessions provide opportunities to connect with nature, improve wellbeing and meet new people in a supportive environment.
