We’re excited to invite you to the Grand Opening of East Kent Mencap’s new Ashford hub at Kennington Parish Room.
Join us on Saturday 19 September, from 10am-2pm, to explore our new space, meet the team and find out what our Ashford hub has to offer.
East Kent Mencap is a local charity supporting people with a learning disability to build confidence, develop skills, make friends and be part of their community.
What’s on?
There will be plenty happening throughout the day:
Activities all day
Explore our new space and try some of the activities on offer at the hub.
Mayor’s speech at 11am
Join us for a special welcome from the Mayor of Ashford as we officially celebrate the opening of our new hub.
Light refreshments
Enjoy light snacks, non-alcoholic fizz, soft drinks and hot drinks.
Donation station
If you’d like to donate something we can use in our hubs, such as craft supplies, we’d be very grateful.
Raffle
Try your luck in our raffle and help support our new hub!
