On March 22nd, the Isle of Thanet Sunrise Rotary Club hosted a fantastic Knitathon, bringing together an incredible community spirit.
I was honoured to attend alongside three other charities as well as Mayor Jack Packman , and Mayoress Karen Brinkman.
Through everyone’s generosity and dedication, an amazing £4000 was raised! As one of the chosen charities, we received £1000—a contribution that will make such a difference to our members.
In April, I had the privilege of attending the cheque presentation, and we are truly grateful to the Rotary for their hard work and fundraising efforts.
