East Kent Mencap is changing its status

East Kent Mencap was established in 1948 and after 70 years the Trustees decided it was time to modernize the charity. Following consultation with our members it was agreed to change our status to become a charity within a company. We are now incorporated and have a new charity number but retain the same name,
